The principal activities of Bach Akademie Australia during 2024 were to perform the works of J.S Bach and to be Australia s most authentic, inspirational and joyful ensemble of historicallyinformed performers. Under the Artistic Direction of Madeleine Easton, it possesses internationally renowned expertise in the music of J.S Bach which it aims to bring to all Australians through live and digital performance, recordings, education programs, and audience engagement programs. In 2024, Bach Akademie Australia promoted culture and served its existing audience and reached new audiences through its core concert series and appearances at the Sydney Festival and Canberra International Music Festival. BAA also reached students through education programs in Sydney.
