Australian Women with Epilepsy LTD

Australian Women with Epilepsy (AWE) is a national peer support community organisation for women living with epilepsy. AWE provides a moderated online peer support group, inperson and online support sessions, and free resources through its website to improve wellbeing and reduce health risks. AWE collaborates with researchers as consumer experts for clinical trials and develops practical resources to help women manage epilepsy in their daily lives via our website https://awepilepsy.org.au/. AWE raises awareness and addresses stigma through public campaigns, advocacy, and events such as the Epilepsy Awareness Day Walk reaching the wider community online and in person.
