We certified two canine search and rescue teams under the New Zealand Landsar Dogs standards by two qualified assessors from New Zealand. Our organisation was formally included in the State Emergency Management Plan, as a recognised volunteer search and rescue organisation. We subsequently attended three deployments to look for missing persons upon request by Victoria Police and were on standby for another two searches.
