Alongside its concert touring, the orchestra offered a unique combination of workshops, academies and education programs for school and tertiarylevel students, development opportunities for professional musician and music teachers, and enlightening presentations in tandem with its concerts. Voyage of Musical Discovery is a unique music education series exploring Western Art Music. The youth orchestra program Young Mannheim Symphonists introduces young, emerging musicians to magnificent music with a fresh new historically informed perspective. At our tertiary and professional level, our musicians offer tuition, and workshops wherever they are touring. New in 2024, were the Talk&Tea community engagement events which focus on bringing older Australians together for social interaction surrounding ARCO's music performances.
