The Australian Refugee Association s vision is a fair and equitable society where all people, especially those who have recently arrived in Australia, are able to fulfil their potential. Our purpose is to support newly arrived communities and individuals, empowering them to participate actively in all aspects of life in Australia. We achieve our purpose by delivering high quality services in collaboration with communities, stakeholders, volunteers, and professionals. ARA serves people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities, providing a holistic service that is continually evolving in response to client and community needs. It often starts with problem solving and case management in the Settlement Engagement and Transition Support (SETS) program and advances into engagement, growth, and empowerment through a range of complementary programs across all facets of the settlement journey and all life stages.
