Australian National Piano Award Shepparton Incorporated

The Australian National Piano Award (ANPA) was established in 1992 and has been held biennially in October in the City of Greater Shepparton. It is a competition for pianists who are Australian citizens, permanent residents of Australia or persons who have been resident for a least four consecutive years. Since the inception of ANPA in 1992, most contestants have continued their careers in music, performing both nationally and internationally, and many have been appointed to senior university positions. The 2024 Award Competition was an outstanding success. The prize winners were at international standard. ANPA provide forum for Australian Pianists to showcase their talent and to compete for significant prizes. Both contestants and Adjudicators pronounced the Competition a success and national press coverage was achieved which showcased not only the talented Australian Pianists but also the Shepparton region.
