About Australian Muslim Women's Centre For Human Rights
As a human rights organisation, we provide tailored community programs and individual case management services to support Muslim women, children and families in areas relevant to their needs, offering culturally appropriate, safe and engaging services. This includes offering specialist response and prevention support to address domestic and family violence; settlement support and capacity building; women's leadership and youth programs; mental health programs; and programs to build resilience against racism and Islamophobia. Alongside this we conduct research, produce resources, deliver cultural capacity training, and provide consultancy services, advocating for sector and policy reform and raising awareness on key issues to improve the rights and status of Muslim women and communities.
