Over the past year, AMCS has continued to provide essential support to older people, individuals with disabilities, and carers from multicultural backgrounds through a range of culturally inclusive services. Our key programs include: Aged Care and Carers Support: Access and Support, Multicultural Home Care including Home Care Packages, Social Support Groups, Respite for Carers, and Multicultural Volunteer Visiting Programs, helping older people live independently while maintaining social connections. Hardship Relief: Support and Relief Services, including food parcels and deliveries, assisting individuals and families facing financial hardship. Dementia Care and Support: Our Multicultural Dementia Care and Support Centres provide respite services and education for carers, equipping them with skills and strategies to navigate their caring roles while prioritizing their wellbeing. Wellness and Inclusion: Through the Information Linkages and Capacity Building program, we support people with disabilities, their families, and carers to participate in mainstream community activities, including arts, culture, sport, and recreation. Volunteer West: Program enhances volunteer practice in sector, uplifts the profile of volunteering and provides resources to volunteering in the West.
