Description of how your charity s programs helped achieve your purpose: The AGWS aims to support Australians with a Germanspeaking background. Our clients are mainly elderly migrants. Through regular meetings and outings we create an environment of trust and friendship, fighting loneliness and isolation so often connected to old age. In cases of personal hardship and / or distress we offer support to those in need. We also offer the following services: JP Assistance in applying for (or lodging) a German or Austrian Pension or foreign passport Authentication of Life Certificates Supplying members and / or clients with general information on various matters, distribute helpful brochures, leaflets and other documentation.
