Delivered culturally specific aged care services to elderly Filipinos across Metro Melbourne and Regional Victoria. Delivered wellness promotion activities to reduce social isolation and improve physical and mental health. Delivered health promotion activities and information sessions to improve the awareness and support for Filipinos living with Dementia and support for their families and Carers. Supported vulnerable individuals and families at risk of homelessness, and experiencing domestic violence or elder abuse to access appropriate services. Provided health and service information sessions and linking clients to support services including employment support. Supported vulnerable individuals at risk of homelessness, and experiencing domestic violence or elder abuse with shortterm housing at our Filipino Charity House. Supported Filipino Carers in returning to the workforce, providing work experience opportunities, and hosting formal training classes for community access. Worked collaboratively with organisations and service providers to deliver projects that support the wellbeing of Filipinos. Delivered community consultations, health information sessions and training in the Philippines about Dementia and healthy ageing. Delivered activities that promoted Filipino culture and language particularly through food, art, sport and the performing arts.
