The ACIUCN provides a platform for local IUCN members to advance the global mission and programme in Australia. We did this by: Providing a neutral forum for Australian conservation organisations to share knowledge, collaborate, raise awareness, develop policy advice and publications. Partnering with our wider network to provide expert advice to contribute to the development and implementation of broader regional and global environmental goals, conservation frameworks, processes and policies. Delivering collaborative projects and initiatives to achieve outcomes that help deliver conservation priorities in Australia. Promoting and facilitating the implementation of IUCN recommendations, tools and frameworks in Australia. Helping to meet national and global environmental communications goals by raising awareness of the benefits and importance of biodiversity and naturebased solutions for meeting societal needs. Building and maintaining a strong IUCN network in Australia.
