The Australian Climate and Biodiversity Foundation (ACBF) exists to protect and restore nature at scale, with the overarching goal of delivering a Nature Positive Australia. Our work addresses the urgent twin crises of biodiversity loss and climate change through two flagship programs: Forest Futures and Nature Positive Australia. These initiatives are designed to transform environmental policy, economic systems, and land management practices to protect ecosystems, empower communities, and deliver longterm sustainability. Our Forest Futures program directly advances our mission by working to end native forest logging and reduce deforestation across Australia. This program protects biodiversity, enhances carbon sequestration, and provides a viable economic alternative to deforestation, ensuring forests are valued for their longterm ecological and climate benefits. Our Nature Positive Australia program focuses on embedding biodiversity outcomes into the heart of Australia s economy, policy frameworks, and investment systems. Together, these programs translate ACBF s vision into action by creating the legal, economic, and social conditions needed to protect and restore Australia s natural systems, while also contributing to climate mitigation, resilience, and new economic opportunities.
