The Australian Cancer Research Foundation's (ACRF) mission is to fund worldclass research into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of this disease in all its forms. Since its formation ACRF has awarded $204 million in research grants to Australian cancer research institutes, hospitals and universities. In the past year ACRF has funded four cancer research projects, namely: 1) ACRF Centre of Advanced ImagingGuided Cancer Therapeutics ($10.0 million) at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre (VIC); 2) The ACRF Childhood Cancer Early Detection, Prevention and Treatment Program ($5.0 million) at the Children s Cancer Institute (NSW); 3) The ACRF Centre for Dynamic ImmunoOncology ($2.0 million) at Alfred Health and Monash University (VIC) and 4) ACRF Centre for Cellular Imaging of Precision Immunotherapy ($3.0 million) at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre (VIC).
