The Charity aims to promote the prevention of the mental illness known as borderline personality disorder (BPD) and complex trauma by promoting access to appropriate treatment and adequate service provision for people with BPD (and complex trauma) and their families/carers. The charity is active on social media and distributes a free monthly eBulletin to promote realistic hopeful information about BPD as well as inform people of relevant support groups and training around BPD. The Charity also provides training and education information to health professionals and to those who contact us via phone or email seeking specific information eg how to access treatment. In addition, the Charity takes a lead role in organising events/website/social media during BPD Awareness Week.
