About Australia's National Research Organisation for Women's Safety Limited
ANROWS primary function is to build the evidence base that supports ending violence against women and children in Australia. ANROWS commissions and produces a wide range of research that contributes to the national evidence base into violence against women and children in Australia and makes this evidence accessible through leading the conversation to influence policy and practice through the translation and exchange of knowledge. ANROWS continues to deliver relevant, translatable research and make the evidence base accessible and relevant to stakeholders to prevent, respond to and end violence against women and children. By setting Australia's National Research Agenda, ANROWS' has provided direction about the importance of engaging with lived expertise in the development and use of evidence, including the expertise of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, and victims and survivors of domestic family and sexual violence, including children and young people, as part of using evidence to influence policy and practice to end violence against women and children.
