Australasian Virology Society Inc

We provided advice, on matters related to viruses and their effects on health, and on vaccines, to members of the public, the media, and to government departments. We provided connections and a support network to our early career members in particular, in the absence of inperson events and conferences that were cancelled due to COVID19. We provided support to our members who are undertaking research into how viruses cause disease. We provided financial support to our scientific members to advance their careers.
