Augusta Margaret River Clean Community Energy Incorporated

Our principal purpose of the association is to protect the natural environment by reducing carbon emissions, to this end in 2023/2024 we: Completed a study on source and size of emissions within our Shire. Conducted information stalls and extensively utilized social media to educate on and promote renewable energy and reduction of carbon emissions. Actively supported community consultations regarding a feasibility study for a wind farm in our shire. Investigated implementing an Electrify Everything project refer Rewiring Australia, to reduce household emissions in our Shire. Participated in waste and agricultural emission discussions and reviews within the region with UWA.
