About Association of Islamic Charitable Projects
AICP provided a spiritual educational service at a number of faithbased facilities that offer religious programs to meet the Muslim community's spiritual demands and needs. This service was offered in the form of religious workshops, seminars, lessons, adult courses, as well as, programs that promote a better understanding and appreciation of Islam as a religion. AICP also ran a mentoring service for youth with an online peermentoring component that focuses on overcoming Muslim concerns related to personal experiences of discrimination and prejudice especially those relating to religious appearance and identity. The charity produced a number of reports and papers in order to better inform community developers and organisers and also wider community members. AICP partnered as a charity with a number of local and overseas institutions in order to carry research on religious, cultural, as well as, theological trends including themes related to Muslim identity issues, social disadvantage and relevant community responses.
