ASeTTS (Association for Services to Torture and Trauma Survivors) has been dedicated to supporting individuals from refugee and refugeelike backgrounds since 1992. We provide traumainformed mental health and rehabilitation services to those who have experienced torture or trauma in their country of origin, during their journey to Australia, or while in detention. Our work promotes healing, recovery, and reconnection with personal strengths, empowering individuals and families to rebuild their lives and thrive in the community. As one of eight accredited torture rehabilitation centers in Australia and a member of both the FASSTT and IRCT networks, ASeTTS delivers culturally responsive and inclusive support across diverse age groups, ethnicities, and identities. Guided by a commitment to equity and compassion, we help survivors overcome trauma and create pathways for resilience and social inclusion, fostering a stronger and more supportive society.
