AMAA provided support to patients with asbestos related diseases via telehealth, in person through our drop in centre and online. AMAA advocated for patients with stakeholders including pharmaceutical companies, employer organisations and unions. AMA also participated in National Asbestos Awareness and safety campaigns with other asbestos related charities/organisations. AMAA attended conferences with stakeholders as a patient representative organisation. AMAA also delivered social media awareness projects in collaboration with the Asbestos Safety and Eradication Agency (ASEA).
