Artspay Foundation LTD

The ArtsPay Foundation engaged in critical foundational work this year that has cemented its role as a new funder of the arts, and helped grow its funding source, ArtsPay, to ensure it delivers a permanent source of revenue for the foundation. This included: Working alongside ArtsPay to promote our charitable purpose and the Foundation's potential to become a major funder of art and culture. This included extensive promotion of our charitable purpose across the business, government and charitable sectors, as well as the community more broadly. Indirectly, but with the support of the foundation, ArtsPay has now grown into a successful startup, surpassing major milestones including: onboarding more than 1000 merchants to the ArtsPay platform, turning these organisations into funders of the arts processing more than $1billion since its launch establishing itself as the only payment provider using payment fees to deliver value to the community, through support for artists and small arts organisations. Successfully applied for registration as a Cultural Organisation, achieving DGR status. Successfully becoming the first payment company and foundation 'ecosystem' (comprising ArtsPay and The ArtsPay Foundation) endorsed by Social Traders as a social enterprise. Undertook an extensive governance review, resulting in the recruitment of new directors to add to the diversity of skills, attributes and backgrounds to the Foundation. Engaged in a review of our highly successful pilot grant round, to inform our next distribution, to be announced in 2025.
