ACT Natimuk is dedicated to cultivating a vibrant arts culture in our region, actively fostering and promoting the arts and supporting local artists. Our goal is to create opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to engage with the arts. Our diverse program includes hosting the film society Palais de Pixel, presenting the Goatfest climbing film festival, running the biennial Nati Frinj festival, and offering initiatives like Circus Jam (a circus skills program) and the Natimuk Open Studios Art Trail. We also host Friends & Community events three times a year, bringing people together and showcasing local artists. ACT Natimuk is committed to Reconciliation, supporting Reconciliation Week and promoting First Nations art through dedicated events and opportunities. We offer 23 annual Creative Lab opportunities, small grants designed to encourage artists to connect with Natimuk and contribute to our vibrant arts community one of these opportunities is specifically focused on First Nations artists. In addition to our core activities, ACT Natimuk partners with other councils to produce and present a wide range of arts and cultural events. We also auspice various community cultural programs, many of which emphasize diversity and inclusivity.
