AWLQ works with local councils, state government, rescue groups to improve outcomes for stray and surrendered pets. Operating five rehoming centres and three community vet clinics within South East Queensland, AWLQ is renowned for its unique and innovative programs, initiatives and rehoming strategies. In 2023/24 AWLQ proudly found loving homes for 7,409 stray and homeless animals and reunited 2,244 pets with their families. AWLQ's community vet clinics treated 44,556 patients and provided $1.575M in charitable funding.
