Alphington Community Centre Inc

We provide a range of programs, support services, activities and events to address social isolation and loneliness in our neighbourhood and build community connection. WE help people overcome adversity by providing access to individual counselling and group programs that build confidence/skills and provide peer support. We encourage and enable people of all ages in our community to engage in activities they most enjoy and encourage life long learning and education. We work to alleviate poverty ad the disadvantages of poverty through free and low cost programs and the provision of food relief and material aid support. We provide a range of programs and activities that encourage people living with a disability to pursue the activities they most love. We run events and run programs that support local microbusinesses to grow. We run a community garden and urban orchard to demonstrate sustainable living practices in an urban setting. We run a community shed to encourage men to connect and women to explore and build new skills.
