About Allergy & Anaphylaxis Australia
A&AA provides a free national allergy helpline to assist individuals, their parents/carers, businesses, schools/childcare, food industry, government and workplaces to manage the everyday challenges of life with allergic disease. As advocates for people with allergic disease, staff participate in working parties, taskforces, research funding applications and research study development, write submissions for government inquires/consultations, submissions for medication listings on the PBS, educate the general public, health care professionals, food industry, schools and childcare and others through presentations, tradeshows, podcasts, webinars, support group meetings and other events. A&AA create and share educational resources via our website, directly to subscribers inboxes and via our social media accounts. A&AA continued its leadership as the cochair of the National Allergy Council. Our work in allergy management helps to reduce the burden of allergic disease on individuals and their families, on the healthcare system, workplaces, in educational settings, in food service and the food industry.
