ALK Positive Australia Inc.

Through our various initiatives, ALK Positive Australia has actively supported patients diagnosed with ALKpositive cancer. We provide critical support to those who reach out via our website, https://alkpositive.org.au, or the ALK+ Facebook page. To increase awareness, we have distributed information flyers to lung cancer nurses across Australia, ensuring that newly diagnosed patients are informed about the support available through our organization. We have partnered with the Thoracic Oncology Group of Australia (TOGA) to launch the first ALK Positive Australia and TOGA Inspirational Research Grant. This grant aims to empower researchers with resources to advance treatments for ALKpositive nonsmall cell lung cancer (NSCLC), directly impacting the lives of Australians battling this disease. Additionally, we hosted our first educational webinar with Dr. Malinda Itchins, explaining the ALKTERNATE trial in layman's terms, which was made available on our YouTube channel. Furthermore, we produced our first informational video on ALKpositive cancer, further expanding access to vital resources for patients and their families
