About Alittlebitiffy Animal Sanctuary
In 2024, Alittlebitiffy Animal Sanctuary took on less healthy surrenders to focus on surrenders with longterm medical needs. We accepted guinea pigs from veterinary clinics that needed extensive medical or surgical management, and facilitated appropriate veterinary attention based on their individual needs. We also continued working with the University of Queensland School of Veterinary Science for the purpose of educating veterinary science and veterinary technology students, and attended veterinary nursing conferences to speak about and learn about guinea pig specific care.
