Agape Outreach Inc. is the only charity of its kind in the region, providing comprehensive support across prevention, intervention, and postvention stages of homelessness. Serving communities from Byron Bay, NSW, to Runaway Bay, QLD, Agape delivers over 1,500 hot meals weekly, alongside free food hampers that help families stretch their budgets and reduce the risk of eviction, actively working to prevent homelessness. For those currently experiencing homelessness, Agape offers targeted intervention through street outreach, case management to find housing, access to psychologists, and facilities like showers and laundry. To support individuals as they transition out of homelessness, Agape provides postvention programs such as barista training, cooking and getting back to work programs, as well as drug and alcohol support. By addressing the full spectrum of homelessness before, during, and after Agape combines immediate relief with longterm solutions, empowering individuals to regain independence and stability.
