The Aga Khan Foundation (AKF) Australia contributes to addressing the root causes of poverty by raising awareness about international development and mobilising resources to support the global work of the Aga Khan Development Network, among the Australian public. Operating across 18 countries, AKF focuses on seven interconnected areas: agriculture and food security, civil society strengthening, climate resilience, early childhood development, education, health and nutrition, and work and enterprise. By engaging the Australian public and fostering understanding of these critical issues, AKF Australia has mobilised resources to support our global programs, directly enhancing the quality of life of the communities we work with.
