Africa World Books Community Education Inc

Africa World Books Community Education (AWBCE) promotes literacy and education in underserved communities across Australia. Our mission is to provide access to quality educational materials and connect these communities with service providers in both Australia and Africa. AWBCE offers community engagement resources and parenting information to empower individuals and transform communities. Through various initiatives, AWBCE has successfully distributed books and resources in multiple languages to community members, fostering a love for reading among children and adults as part of community education. AWBCE Link has partnered with the University of Melbourne and the South Sudanese community to host a South Sudan Forum on December 7, 2024, bringing these communities together. Our next conference is scheduled at Melbourne University on June 6, 2025. Our collaborations with local organisations have enabled us to conduct parenting workshops, helping parents develop skills and adapt to modern parenting practices. This effort enhances the quality of education and inspires a new generation of learners. The impact of AWBCE's work is evident in the increased community engagement across Australia. AWBCE has volunteers from every state. PhD candidates can access information by connecting with institutions in different countries through AWBCE Link. This group has united scholars, professionals, and organisations from Australia, the UK, the US, Canada, and South Sudan, facilitating information exchange and mutual support.
