Afriaus Ileac: Inspire Lead Educate Advocate for Change Incorporated

We provided food relief and personal care support to vulnerable families in Victoria and Malawi due to the impact of COVID19 and high cost of living, and the impacts of floods, respectively. We also provided and promoted community health education and care finder (my aged care) services and supports to multicultural communities including seniors and people with a disability in Victoria. Young people especially girls and women, were nurtured to speak up against family violence and genderbased violence and helped to establish and grow positive and respectful relationships in families and across communities, engaging people from diverse language backgrounds. Also, culturally and linguistically women were trained and provided with startup packages and established small businesses to develop their economic security and autonomy.
