Advancing Communities Australia LTD

ACA continues to actively work with our partners by providing backbone support to help assist them in their missions. We continue to invest in increasing our pool of volunteers and have been working on refining our organisational structure etc, in keeping with recommendations of Volunteering Australia. In general our volunteers work behind the scenes with our partners, who actively address issues relating to matters such as public awareness of noncommunicable diseases, climate change impact, as well as matters relating to obesity in the community. We will however, respond to any local nonprofit organisations that approach us for support and have updated our website accordingly. Our current relationships with the West Moreton Advisory Group and the Ipswich community in general, address issues around obesity and energy insecurity for the most vulnerable. In keeping with our communityminded programs we are assisting with Dungeel Circle, which is being specifically designed to enhance men s mental health and wellbeing, primarily for our first nations people, and will be a vibrant gathering hub for the LOCAL community. We are also pleased to announce that the portal for the Climate Action Nurses will be launched in coming months and that this will include a specific portal for healthcare professionals. We continue to receive small donations through our containers for change program, however, all proceeds of our major fundraiser went to supporting youth housing and homelessness in our community through the Readiness Program. Our partners, Hannah s House and Ipswich Community Youth Service are all about helping people who help people with noncommunicable diseases and we will be implementing programs for them this financial year. ACA is excited to be partnering with new projects this year, once again providing essential background support to help their projects along the way. Our mission is to continue to support nonprofit organisations, to build sustainable, resilient communities.
