The services provided by the charity focuses on the causes of rhinology and other fields within ENT to benefit the general public. The Institute runs major international workshops for surgical trainees and specialists. The Institute usually holds three workshops annually: 1. Basic endoscopic sinus surgery 2. Advanced endoscopic sinus surgery. Endoscopic sinus surgery has progressed significantly over the last 20 years with a large number of new surgical techniques and instruments being developed. 3. Managing major vascular injuries during endoscopic skull base surgery. Studies done on previous participants show significantly improved patient outcomes. The Institute also supports research activity by assisting with direct research costs and supporting the presentation of these research findings at major international meetings. Research has been primarily focused on determining the aetiology of chronic sinusitis and understanding the spread of cancerous cells from the primary cancer site to the lymph nodes enabling the appropriate surgery to be performed.
