Abbotsford Convent Foundation

The Abbotsford Convent is Australia's largest multiarts precinct and a much loved cultural and community hub of Melbourne. The Convent precinct comprises 11 historic buildings and 6.8 hectares of expansive gardens and open spaces providing arts, cultural, learning and wellbeing activities to the community. A thriving and dynamic community, the Convent is home to 121 tenants including visual artists, writers, designers, performers and wellbeing practitioners, and welcomes around 750,000+ visitors each year. At the Convent we celebrate creativity, inclusivity, wellbeing and community enrichment. We are passionate about working collaboratively with artists and partnering with arts and cultural organisations to present contemporary, thoughtprovoking and enriching experiences for all to enjoy. And every year we curate and welcome over 2,000 art projects, rehearsals, workshops, exhibitions, private and corporate events, markets and festivals.
