Aak Puul Ngantam Ltd trading as APN Cape York has the mission to empower Southern Wik Traditional Owners on their homelands: socially; culturally; economically; and sustainably. The longterm objectives of APN Cape York is assist Traditional Owners in getting back to their country and transfer traditional knowledge and capability onCountry to the next generation of Traditional Owners. To do this, APN Cape York creates opportunities for Traditional Owner employment on Country through biodiversity conservation, fire management for climate action, cattle management and access management. APN Cape York facilitates and supports strong cultural transmission and connection to Country through activities such as the APN Ranger program and the Learning on Country program including the Thaa' Pemp Wuut Mangkantan Returning Generation Camp for Year 5 and Year 6 students of the Koolkan Aurukun State School.
