8CCC operated our volunteer driven community broadcasting service on 102.1FM in Alice Springs and Tennant Creek providing training and support for diverse members of the community to participate in creating original media representing local culture. School radio programs, community journalism training and short courses provided access to education. 8CCC's social enterprise 8CCC AV Event production supported major cultural festivals such as Parrtjima, Alice Springs Desert Festival, Desert Harmony Festival (Tennant Creek), Desert Mob Symposium and the Big Day Out in Harmony while offering skill development and employment pathways for young emerging arts workers. 8CCC also delivered free community events Mparntwe Street Art Festival Closing showcasing local arts music and culture with a strong focus on artist and technician professional development and cross cultural networking with arts workers from across the Northern Territory
