We educated the public about climate impacts by supporting the Our Islands Our Home campaign, a Torres Strait Islanderled campaign for climate justice. We educated the public about the need to transition away from fossil fuels, particularly gas, and towards renewable energy. We encouraged the development and implementation of policy including: strengthening our Federal environment and climate laws; adaptation measures for the Torres Strait; and allelectric and gasfree requirements for new buildings in NSW.
