To acquire and restore works of art and other heritage treasures and historical records which will promote the heritage and history of the Henderson area. To record any sound recordings, film, video, print, computer or other recording method the oral history of the Henderson area. To promote education and knowledge of the history of the buildings, and other heritage treasures of the Henderson area, including the general early history of the area and the early history of other parts of New Zealand.
