Right now this page shows what the charity register holds about Rongowhakaata Iwi Trust. Claiming it lets you tell your own story — what you do, who you help, how to reach you and how to give — so someone who finds you here sees your organisation as you'd want it seen.
Next, we'll email a 6-digit code to your charity's registered address to confirm you represent Rongowhakaata Iwi Trust. Type it in here, and filling in your profile takes about two minutes.

RIT is a charitable entity responisible for developing and implementing initiatives to improve the wellbeing of Rongowhakaata iwi. The purpose is to receive, manage, administer and apply the Trust’s assets on behalf and for the benefit of present and future members of Rongowhakaata. The Trust is essentially responsible for developing and implementing a range of interventions and initiatives on behalf of its Iwi members and has an integral part to play in improving the social, cultural, environmental and economic wellbeing of our Iwi.
Pivotal to achieving our goals is the successful completion of our negotiations with the Crown to settle the Turanganui-a-Kiwa Treaty of Waitangi Claims.
