The purpose of the Trust is to promote comprehension of personal, whanau (family) and community Wellbeing, Human Rights, and the responsibilities they entail, and to educate people, particularly youth, about their Rights, and their responsibilities in regard to others, and the overall wellbeing of Te Taiao (the environment). The Trust's purpose also involves offering practical support to those in need, particularly those financially disadvantaged.
In particular the Trust involves: Establishing and operating a Hapu community based Whare Hauora Wananga (wellbeing and education centre), as a dynamic working prototype based upon earth-kindly practices and founded in international law, that can be replicated in other areas; Providing wellbeing, education, and support services to those in need; and Providing other support and assistance consistent with this charitable purpose.
