About Wellington Regional Charity Hospital Trust
The Wellington Region Charity Hospital has been established to provide free surgical and specialist services for people in the Wellington region who cannot otherwise access timely care.
Our purpose is to ensure that healthcare is available to all, regardless of financial means or circumstances, by addressing gaps in the public system and delivering day-surgery and outpatient procedures that transform lives.
The hospital will be supported by volunteer clinicians and staff, working alongside suppliers and benefactors who share our vision of equitable healthcare. Generous donations.
Beyond medical care, our purpose is to foster a culture of service and community, where training, volunteering, and collaboration create opportunities for many to contribute. By building a sustainable, community-owned hospital, we aim to deliver lasting benefit for individuals, families, and the wider region.
