The Avoca Tangowahine Public Hall Society Incorporated

The Avoca/Tangowahine Hall is a special community building in Northland with significant heritage value, who celebrated its centennial in 2013. It is the focus for a committed group of residents in a rural community who are determined to ensure the survival and use of the Hall and the preservation of its memorabilia (largely photographs and name boards) which are a historical record of the community and its value.
