About Society Of Otago University Law Students Incorporated
To protect and promote the interests of all law students; to promote and organise such cultural, social, intellectual and educational activities as the Society deems fit; to produce and distribute a magazine for law students; to organise and conduct competitions; to encourage and assist law students to engage in activities and competition with students from other universities; to facilitate involvement of law students in legal affairs of the community; to liaise with Te Rōpū Whai Putake, the Pacific Islands Law Students’ Association, the Otago Asian Law Students' Association, Pride in Law Otago, and others; to facilitate contact between law students and staff of the Law Faculty and the University; and, to foster a cooperative relationship with the Faculty of Law and the Otago University Students’ Association.
