Bay of Islands Marine Radio Association Incorporated

To provide safety at sea for boaties in the Bay of Islands and coastal areas extending from Tutukaka in the South to Knuckle Point in the North. To provide safety on the water and work with other Community Groups such as New Zealand Police, Coastguard, Customs, Harbour Master, St. John Ambulance, Department of Conservation, Maritime New Zealand and Search and Rescue. To educate a significant number of boaties to call up the Station when leaving the shore and call again when they have returned. To train our paid and volunteer operators to be able to cope with all emergencies.
