TNR (Trap Neuter Return) of feral/wild cats and older kittens -Spay/Neuter and inoculate owned cats if the owner cannot afford it -Spay/Neuter test and inoculate abandoned cats -Rehome abandoned and relinquished cats and kittens (the occasional dog) - Rehome all kittens if they are socialized - Trap and socialize young wild kittens so they may be adopted ; depending on age this includes feeding de-parasiting de-worming first basic inoculations (occasionally the booster spaying neutering and any surgeries such as umbilical hernias to make certain the kittens are healthy when they are adopted all of which take up to 4 weeks -Put feral cats into Barn Cat programs in other communities as we don't have that here -Pay for emergency veterinarian services if the owner cannot do so at the time - Provide food and water for wild cat colonies - Provide food and litter for fosterers -Provide food and litter for owners who cannot afford them -Reuniting cats with owners
