The shelter offers a safe refuge and supports to assess risk and plan for safety. Additionally the shelter offers trauma-informed counselling supports with assessing the residents needs and setting goal including advocacy and referrals to essential services such as housing legal childcare and healthcare services. The outreach services inlcude trauma-informed counselling to children and adult women presenting programs recreational drop-in and skills building programming for children youth and adults housing help advocacy and referral services transitional supports to other essential services such as legal immigration housing childcare income support eployment and healthcare services.
