Vancouver Youth Theatre Society

Charitable activities include ongoing programs that fulfill vyt's mission statement: a creative partnership between young actors and authors with adult theatre professionals co-creating plays from young peoples' ideas across kids' writes (elementary schools) and teen programs (secondary school level). Our mandate of inclusivity serves a diversity of socio-economic communities. Programs build self-confidence critical thinking teambuilding life and career life as well as youth leadership towards social justice and peace education. Since the pandemic (2021) programs include in-person and on-line program for young actors writers and artists.
