The united way sdg works with donors volunteers service providers and other to improve the quality of life in our community. The agency providers leadership and resources while promoting voluntarism to support projects and programs directed primarily to the people in our community. As it works with the member agencies the united way solicits funds from the district in order to raise the necessary funds. The united way sdg collaborates with the agape centre cornwall and the house of lazarus to administer emergency relief for individuals who find themselves in need of financial assistance to pay overdue utility bills first/last months rent moving costs and unexpected expenses
