United Way Newfoundland and Labrador works to advance the common good and create opportunities for a better life for the people of our province. Our vision for Newfoundland and Labrador is a province where all of our neighborhoods are healthy vibrant places to work live and raise a family and where all of our young people get the best start in life. United Way Newfoundland and Labrador supports charities throughout the province who are seeking financial support for various programs projects and services they are unable to fund independently. We support this endeavor by investing donor dollars into our Community Fund program granting funds to support programs and initiatives that fall within our three key focus areas: Health People/Strong Communities All that Kids Can Be & Poverty to Possibility. United Way Newfoundland and Labrador received federal funds to administer the Community Services Recovery Fund for the entire province. Funding supported one-time projects primarily focused on program and service innovation and redesign using information gained during the COVID-19 pandemic.
