Unitarian house of ottawa (uho) is a not-for-profit housing corporation providing affordable housing and retirement services for seniors in a supportive community environment. It operates a self-funded rent-geared-to-inocme program and a program of financial support for residents who cannot afford the cost of retirement services based on the aspiration that no resident should be forced to leave for financial reasons. Senior apartments provide independent living and opportunities to participate in and contribute to the larger community. Retirement services comprise meals health and wellness services and various recreational and learning programs including fundraising efforts. Uho is proud of its vibrant caring community.
